Big Data Legal: Seraphin.legal organises the ADIJ Legal Hackathon for the creation of a code for digital activities

On October 17 and 18, the first Legal Hackathon dedicated to the collaborative enrichment of legal data will be held at the Paris City Hall and at the DILA (Services of the Prime Minister, publisher of legifrance.gouv.fr).

Seraphin.legal is organizing this event on behalf of ADIJ and will make available to the participants its technologies for data collection, processing and enrichment.

This action is part of the research and development project carried out by Seraphin.legal 's teams around legal big data.

The main objective will be to create a legal data lake dedicated to digital law based on European and national legal and regulatory provisions available on EurLex and Legifrance, case law available on Legalis.net and CaseIP.com but also available soft law. The Paris City Council, partner of the event, will also provide local legal data on digital inclusion and mediation.

The 2nd objective of the hackathon will be to develop the digital skills of the lawyers present. In particular, they will be trained in some of the skills of the Juriste Numérique / Legal Tech Lawyer reference framework, which Seraphin.legal is developing with AFNOR Certification.

 

For lawyers who wish to take an in-depth approach to certifying their skills, Seraphin. legal is organizing a first training workshop on Tuesday, October 15, starting at 6:30 p.m. in its offices.

In concrete terms, they will be trained in :

  • legally collect open data
  • create labels and semantically enrich the data collected
  • do dataset training
  • test and enrich the collectively created AI
  • create services on the enriched databases
