LEGAL TECH LAWYER: AUGMENTED LAWYERS AND JURISTS
In the future, lawyers and legal advisors will be "augmented" by technology and will offer new generation services. These new kind of lawyers, the future "Legal tech Lawyer", will entrust the machine with everything it can do better than them in order to focus on high value-added tasks and spend more time with their clients. In the movement that is taking place on every stratum of society, they will contribute to bringing new legal solutions to apprehend the collaborative economy and globally accompany the application of law in this new paradigm.
THE AMBITIONS OF THE LEGAL TECH LAWYER CERTIFICATE
→ Developing the digital skills of lawyers and legal professionals of the future
The Legal tech Lawyer certificate has been developed to meet the needs of legal professionals to increase their digital skills, to train in legal tech and to innovate in their legal practices. Bruno Dondero, Professor at the University of Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne explained: "in a few years, it will be easier to ask a lawyer to know how to use a platform for drafting documents, for example, because as soon as law firms use legal tech, they will want their lawyers to be trained accordingly".
In partnership with our committee of experts and diploma courses, the Legal tech Lawyer Certification is aimed at the following audiences

It is an alternative offer between continuing education and initial training which integrates a repository of competences in law, digital and legal tech:
How to follow this certificate?
- That is to say 6 weeks in a row;
- That is to say 6 months by following the bricks of the certificate, between 1 and several days to be fixed according to its availabilities and the wished topic.
Our goal is to provide an agile training solution, adapted to the demands of legal tech lawyers. Future Legal tech Lawyers will be trained by experts from our community and immersed in our legal startup ecosystem. Halfway between academic training, internship and co-creation workshops, our Legal tech Lawyer certification develops the digital skills of lawyers through "learning by doing".
→ Meeting the needs of the labour market for lawyers
The legal job market is a tight one. Lawyers have to face many obstacles before being recruited (not enough qualifications, not enough experience...) and recruitment professionals note that "a large proportion of young graduates of a Master II in Law do not find a job after their university training" - Vanessa Desterbecq, Consultant at the recruitment firm TeamRH.
On the legal tech side, start-ups in the ecosystem and law firms wishing to innovate all face great difficulties in recruiting their legal tech lawyers: these are rare and atypical profiles.
Therefore, the Legal tech Lawyer Certificate provides lawyers with the necessary skills for a transforming job market, and in the medium term a certificate recognised in the ecosystems.
